Whereisthebus.nl is initiated by the Global Benefit Foundation (GBF). The purpose of this foundation is to contribute to the publicity of charities. With the use of special and/or remarkable projects we generate attention for charities. When enough profits are generated, these charities will be financially supported. GBF select one or more charities each project which contribute to a sustainable solution for a better life on earth.

With whereisthebus.nl we support the following charities:

To create revenues for the charities the bus will be available for advertisement of sponsors. Companies can contribute in the form of a mileage allowance. An allowance of 1 Eurocent per kilometer over the total travel distance will cost EUR 405. Of course it is possible to sponsor more "cents per kilometer". All contributions above EUR 0,63/km will directly be donated to the charities. This means that with total sponsoring of EUR 1.63/km a sum of EUR 66.015 will be collected, of which EUR 40.500 will be donated to the charities.
